There does seem to be more favourable reviews towards the Ferrari.  But don't forget Ferrari are not happy if you give their cars bad reviews and have been known not supply cars in the future if you do.

The handling on the Mecca certainly is more controlled and inspires confidence in the driver, whereas the Ferrari is tailhappy when pushed.

exactly. Also the Ferrari's tend to burst into flames due to the glue they were using.

I think that Mclaren have the right attitude when creating a car. Use all the methods they have discovered through motorsport and apply them to making a road car. From what I can gather watching TG the MP4/12C is using active suspension that was pioneered by Williams back in 1991. That's 20 year old technology from F1 trickling down to production road cars.

I don't get the whole fascination with the Ferrari "emoton" and crap like that. If a car looks good, drives well and doesn't spontaneously combust in a fireball then it doesn't matter what badge is stuck on it, it's a good car.

I agree with the statement about Vettel! haha...never was too much of a fan of him, but he came across quite well on top gear!

It's crazy what cars they managed to get for the price of that crappy Nissan.  Just shows how much better value second hand cars are!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
