Thank mate, spoke to Steve a while back and he wanted the electronic module number to be sure before trying to fit the lights for me.

My GTI is an early one so I have a bad feeling I won't be able to fit LED's

If you look at the 10th digit of the VIN number that will tell you the year it was made.
