when you say "just the two either side" do you mean as in the press this clip down http://i.imgur.com/7qGYJl.jpg and pull then the same for the otherside?

Im scared im going to break something pulling it!  :undecided:

Also is there any difference between disconnecting the + of the battery rather than the -?

Probably a stupid question but im a clanky not a spark! Hammers are my tools!

Iv retired for the night, sick of holding a torch in a steamed up car! getting funny looks from the neighbours!

At least i know what im doings right i just need to pull harder!

I suppose the worst that can happen is an airbag goes off point blank to my face!  :embarassed:

Disconnecting the negative stops capacitors draining and zapping you

Finally got it off!

Just wondering if anybody had a spare wire in there which wasnt connected to anything?

Iv got a wire that comes out of a connecter with other wires, the other wires are tied together and go to the airbag whereas this one is just on its own.

Any ideas?

Can anybody do me a favour and confirm theres is the same?

Thanks

The fun in that comes when the 20,000v coil pack decides to earth itself and you have your hand on the engine block
