Leaseplan currently state average 25 week wait, that put me off getting GTD/GTI on company scheme so opted out and got 2nd hand GTI!

2009 GTI, Reflex Silver, 5dr, DSG, Leather, RCD510, Parking camera.

Mine is a company car & I also decided to give the leather a miss. Xenons weren't my choice but are now a must. DSG is up to you (not for me). I agree, rear camera's would b a nice option. 18" monza shadows are a nice touch, as is the dyna audio pack. Now comes the bad news, don't hang your hat on a delivery date any time soon. But the wait is worth it!! Yeehaa

GTI MK6 black, man, 5 dr, 18" Monza shadow, Xenons, RCD510 Dyna Audio, Winter pack, ordered Sept 2009 - Delivered April 2010, stolen next day - gutted

As a relative newbie my opinions as follows:

On your spec;

DSG - love it, a manual convert - so flexible and great in heavy traffic
White - looks good on GTI but too many white cars around for me (but then mine is silver!)
18" Monza's - definately
ACC - a nice to have but not sure I would ever change from normal setting - bit of a gimmick?
Winter - yes
Luxury - not bothered
Bluetooth - wish mine had it
Side - understand why you would spec
RCD 510 - definately
Dynaudio - never heard it and mainly listen to radio in car so not for me

Others:
Leather - would have been more than happy without
Camera - excellent and not the gimmick i expected, very useful for parking
Sensors - wouldn't bother if it was a company car - lease company pays for damage!
Xenons - a nice to have but so expensive and I have no issues with standard lights
Sunroof - never use them but wife likes them and the interior is quite dark with the black lining
Cruise - would have specc'd if bought the car new, just for those long journeys and given how cheap it is. Should be standard

Of course all the extras you put on will contribute to higher tax liability but then if you are prepared to spend £30k then you will already know this!
