i changed mine to blue l.e.d's

u just ahve to take the clocks out (remove the light switch and airbag light on the right, and the dash blank on the left next tot he stereo, there will be 2 screws, undo them and then the clock fascia comes off) just undo the screws holding the clocks in then and pull the unit out.

then you take the old bulbs out along with the green strip, put your new lights in (i presume you have a kit with correct shape l.e.d's/bulbs) and replace them with the new ones

then in traditional haynes style, refitting is the opposite of removal

If you've already changed the top bulbs you should have seen where the bulbs for the screens are  :undecided:

If you look in the pic below the round blue LED's that you can see the back of illuminate the screens

Out of interest, could you not just buy different coloured bulbs?  Or replace the strip of green plastic with another colour?

Just replace th green strip with whatever colour you want, I cut a piece of clear plastic the same size of the green strip and put red electrical tape on it to give a red filter. You can change the colour to whatever colour electrical tape you can get

Is that the same tape that was "borrowed" from your last job mate ?
