best coilovers for a golf vr6

need some help best coilovers to get for a mk3 vr6. got £200 budget. but aint got a clue which are good and which are s**t.

Tbh, with suspension you get what you pay for. £200 will only get you budget coilovers which are very hit and miss, your much better off getting a decent spring/shock setup or spending more money  :smiley:

Shocks and springs FTW! Im using a second hand set of Gmax shocks and springs and they are perfect for everyday driving!

Ok, well i'm running Hottuning coilovers, they cost me about £140 new. For what I paid i'm impressed, but the ride is pretty harsh at times, and they creaked a lot when new, took no end of grease/waxoyl to stop them. Other than that ok for the money.

Hottuning are ok but you get what you pay for.

I got some for £170 and they are spot on. harsh but that's how I like it and make no noise. But these are only temporary, because what Ive got in mind these won't handle it  :grin:

Koni's for £150 and they are Perfect <3

Have a butchers around for some second hand coilies, you might be able to find some decent brands for fair prices!

yeah was looking on the bay, but most people dont even know what they are lol, was looking at fk streets anyone got any of these fitted.
