The 9A is a 2.0L 16v ke-motronic engine fitted to vw passat and corrado.
The Audi version is the 6A. The vw engine 9A is easier to swap with the KR in the mk2 golf.

9a comes out of a passat gt which is a 2.0 16v
if you`ve got a lateish mk2 with digifant i`m pretty sure it`ll be a pb engine code :tongue:
