Good things come to those who wait I guess. Its not for me though. When I brought mine I enjoyed the chase of searching the country for a nearly new GTi to the spec I wanted. Within a couple of weeks I hand a nice new GTi sitting on my drive. Saved a few pennies as well. Yes I would have liked a brand new one but its not something I'm that fussed about.

Ok the missus googled it and tells me it is a quote first used in Car Wash (1977). Before my time mate.
The actor was Antonio Fargas who also played Huggy Bear in Starsky and Hutch.
