Yeah sure, try this link - http://www.proven-products.co.uk/products/fse_power_boost_valves.htm

I don't know why Overseer has posted a link to the ASA - this refers to Ecotek valve... although he is right they are crap and notoriously fiddly to fit and offer nor performance. Not really sure what this has to do my FSE valve (an FSE power boost valve was originally designed for competition use so it has been tried and tested)?
If you get one get it fitted by performance tuning company not a DIY job as the bar has to be set correctly. If in doubt ring RPE and ask their advice. their number is 01884 266243.

hope this helps,
Simon.

hhmmmm, yes.... what would be the purpose of bullsh!tting!
this forum is meant to help and advise other golf owners amongst other things - so surely it would be pretty pointless to make stuff up!

golfvr6-is-back is your name Andrew of Edward by any chance???
sorry if i upset, i was being serious

sick of being fookin wazed over on the road
neeeeeed mooorrrreee power
know what i mean
i've looked into various forms of increasing my hp just going through the motions before i go out and get myself a supercharger from the states
which you can get for an 8v 2.0
but an increase from 115bhp to 160bhp does seem to ring my bell for the sum of ?900

Of course i believe him.
I've just got a k&n and a sports exhaust on my vr.
On the rollers it did 225 bhp at the flywheel.
Just think i could get 260bhp with a remap

50bhp increase from stock with just a sports zorst and a k&n did not realise it would give that much of an increase   :undecided:

No worries guys, i'll scan the figures and i can email to anyone who's interested!

i'm a little envious of golfVR6-is-back - 225BHP now that's what i call a lot of fun!! what's your fuel consumption like?/running costs etc??

now who says an 8v can't be fun!!

Simon.

p.s. why doe the media slate the mk3?? i'm sick of hearing ohhh the mk1 is the best, oh no a 16v mk2 is better etc...

mk1s are classics
mk2s have poise
mk3s have grace (gorgeous lookin motor)
mk4s have querkyness (tadd boring if you ask me)
mk5s too modern to rate but sweet finish all round

someone design a program so all members can poll to see once and for all which is favourite
it will probably be the mk3 gti 16v
but hey u never no
