HELP!!!FRONT HEADLIGHT ACTING AS INDECATOR

can any one shed any light on why ehrn i indecate my front light flashes and indecator now acts like
my main beam??? only does this o/s n/s works perfectly fine
any help would b gratefull

Thanks for replys its a mk2 vr6t conversion with this light prob holding it up for mot
ive changed steering stalks a least 3 times
wot i have noticed on loom to lights n/s theres a brown wire been cut could this been the earth??
may sound stupied but learnt through this build stupied mistakes costs money

brown wire will be an earth yeah, bare the end and touch it to chassis then try again see if problem is solved. if it is, solder it up and run properly either to battery -ve or splice to one of the other brown wires to your lights on that side

no joy
i earthed broken wire i found to battery
where else would be good to look at
any help would be great

check all brown wires to the lights and the indicators for continuity to the battery -ve with a multimeter. i.e. put it on the setting where it beeps or 1 goes to 0 when the ends are touched together and poke it between battery -ve and the brown wires

try cleaning up the pins if they look dirty as well, could just be a poor connection
