Managed to get 3 more coats of paint on this afternoon then got one coat of lacquer on. I was going to do a few more coats this evening but it's raining outside and I don't want to ruin anything so close to the end. I'm leave it overnight and will hopefully be able to get 2-3 more coats of lacquer on 2moro. Plan then is to leave that overnight and then saturday I will polish and wax it before fitting it. Weather permitting again!

The finish ain't perfect but as I'm still new to the spray can so I wasn't expecting it to be. I'm not too sure how close to perfect you could get it with a spray can but I'm happy with how it has come out. I have learnt a lot from doing this tho which I can use when doing my votex valance if/when it arrives. All in all a worth while project

What you spray with makes little difference to the outcome, with a can you preferably want the fan spray nozzle, but it is seriously ALL in the prep work, thin coat, rub down, thin coat rub down; so on and so on, the thinner the paint job the better, thick paint chips a lot more easily, and takes far longer to properly set off! All in the prep :)
