LED rear lights

Hi All,

Any ideas on how much the LED rear lights are? I understand there are some adapters needed and a bit of VAGCOM titillation.

There are a number of threads, but none have the approximate cost and where to get all the bits from. I'm going to invest in a VAGCOM thing, as the family has about 8 VAG cars, so will be of use from time to time.

IIRC from past threads the retail price came to over £500, I know it has been talked about in the original thread somewere on here.

How to code them etc and how to fit them is in steveP's thread below if you had not seen it yet.

Weird! I was just trying to look for a thread with the cost of LED rear lights.  Does that price include fitting?

New retail price (with the VAT increase) will be £481 for the lights and £56 for the adapter parts.

So GB price will probably be around £455-460 now  :cry:

Is it not cheaper to buy the adaptors from Germany or are they different

Blimey they have come down in price, they where always a bit cheaper but normally aren't original VW connectors  :smiley:

My car is sold in like 2months when I get hold of my new car. I will sell you mine.
 Im looking for best part of my money back. bought from Steve P However they are as new. I will leave them on my car working if you would like to collect and take them off when you are here. ( 2min job ) I still got boxes etc... Looking for 400 ONO
