just extracted my tent from my boot... and popped the tent up in the garden to dry out tonight and tomorrow

its no wonder it collapsed... one of the tent poles has split lengthways... will have to get another one, in the meantime I have taped it up and it seems to be holding ok

not impressed that it decided to give up after only a slight breeze like that!  :undecided:

Gutted... yeah they should sort you out.. Big tents can be quite vulnerable in wind although it wasn't that bad..  Probably the way you put it up!

I havent washed anything yet, all I have done is unpack the car, banging the tent in the washing  machine now.

Shame it's too big to put in a machine, mines a 7kg drum and just about right for my tent... My tents nearly 10 years old now I think and yets used quite a bit. Wash it after every use then use the spray on version of Fabsil.. highly recommended. :afro:
