yers i have big doubts as to how true this is about beating al those cars as on public roads doing that speed in that car would shake you to peices and can imagine the car undressing its lil pannels at high speed but on the ryt track that best suits the cars abilities i can imagine it could beat a few bigger cars but in a straight line race i highly doubt it can do was it stated,, i would like to see videos of this and would put my hands up it they prove me rong..

Yes you are right that on a track it could possibly up there with the big boys but on the other hand what about the fact that it is a little light weight front wheel drive car with a lot bigger and heavier engine then it should normally have, screams tyre wall to me

gud point there and also i can imagine it having quite bad torque steer plus i bet he struggles getting any power down when hard cornering, and with the added weight of the bigger engine the polo int designed for that weight difference i bet it has a big effect on lift off oversteer aswell

well this is what i was thinking, so maybe not track now?? The only way i can think this car would possiblly keep up with one of those cars listed is if he was already rolling the wheels at a good speed so he can put the power down. I am suprised though that he didnt include a vid of it in the listing, he seems to be pritty cnfident about the car in the way he lists it, would have been something i would have done!

i doubt it would beat some of the stuff he claims,unless its set perfectly it couldnt corner at any real speed.and off the line it wouldnt get the power down,but i bet its still fun and shocks alot of people

definately yerz if he is as confidednt as he sounds he should put up a video plus he cant just expect every1 to believe the quotes he made about the car. and he must of had a good rolling start and good tires on a hot dai to be able to get the power down to the road unless he is using different gear ratios and/or a limited slip diff to aid traction and drivability

I would have expected that with all the work done it would have a lsd? Would be great fun to have a go in it or even to own it. I have a mate on the polo forum and he had a look at it said he has never seen it on any of the frums he is on, he posted it up on them and nobody seems to know it, you at least would have expected him to join a forum if he has done all that work??? I defo would have to show it off, espically if it can put all those cars to shame?
Personally wanting to email this guy and ask him to meet me at the next santa pod run what you brung day against my bro's rs4 and lets see who is laughing at the end

mmm dont think my car would beat it but once i have taken my to jabba and had the smaller pulley and chip i would be well up for it. Thats why i said my bro's rs4 cause mine wont do it and yet he claims it eats rs4's alive, i might even be tempted to email him this thread link
