I think you need to stop slagging off other people's choices of car.  Banter between people who are already friends is one thing, but persistent, knee-jerk denigration of perfectly valid choices (like diesel, or DSG, or 5-door, or 17" wheels) can indeed come over as pretty unfriendly.

I think we need to do an introduction sticky for new members.

With a little help from us the new and old members should be able to get done forum airtime

That way new members will be able to introduce themselves to everyone rather than just one section? If they want to of course, they can say hello here and there. Might make the off topic/dub rides/ show sections more accessible?
