Mk6 just a fancy car??

The Mk6 is a  £25K and up car, they are essentially a £15K mass-produced car with some fancy trimmings and a souped up engine.This is not a rant just a reality check ??

Yep: I think you have made a very good point. GTI/GTD and others have really become very expensive cars and  beyond the reach of many. Pity. It was not meant to be so when the Golf was first released. Was it?

I read they're bringing out the MK7 within the next 2 years.

I'd say more than 15k steve, it's got to be worth at least what the mk5 was at the end of it's run? It's mainly the stupid inflation of prices since it came out that have made it questionable value imo.
