Be interesting to see what power you put and what mods you'll have running. Last RR day mine rollered 235bhp and my mates, who also runs qpeng, got 222bhp. Apart from the Forge TIP, all the other mods are the same.

Either way nice project dude :)

sorry dude i didnt see your message  cheers mate yeah il be attending a few RR days with you guys il only be running 200bhp to start with as that is what Qpeng have told me il be running with standard mods but we shall see

just to keep this alive i got fed up of waiting intill next month to do more on this so i took the disk brake stone guards of the jetta shot blasted them and painted them.I had to modifie them a little so i could put them on with out having my bearings pressed out of the jetta and also pressed out of the golf's carriers asfor i totaly forgot you have to have your disk brake stone guards put on then have the bearing pressed in ' which i didnt do '

all i have done is cut a section out and rounded them off instead of beein held on with 3 10mm bolts they will be held on with 2 10mm bolts

rusty and modified

blasted and painted

Looking fresh.    looks like brand new, you'll be wanting to clean up those calipers now!

OK lied, not posted anything obviously.  They're the sort of things I can manage myself, its only the car I can't paint.

Were you not tempted to get some drilled and grooved discs?
