While we are speculating about the possibilities of an Ed 35 here is what I would like:

Power of around 250-60 hp.(If you remember then all they did to the mk5 was effectively upgrade from a ko3 to a ko4 turbo. I'm pretty sure that by doing the same to a mk6 we would see that figure quite nicely. It would also bring the special edition just under the R model in the same way that the Ed30 was just under the R32)

Half Leather seats (love these in the Ed30s)

Fancy Lights (but no more Audi style lights. Would be nice if VW could come up with their own look).

New wheels (perhaps a reinterpretation of the Monza's)

But price wise I reckon it could be into the 30 grand. Although it would be a nice car I'm just not sure that's the type of money I want to spend on a Golf.

Steve30: Twin turbo prototype TDI with ~220bhp in production form   :lipsrsealed:

oh no they didn't
But the good news unlike the mk5 engine the EA888 in the mk6 was developed according to the documents of its development about the block etc to be capable of ~270bhp in production forum with the usual VW tolerances ontop.
