Will Do  . On snow with my 18s on, I cant even get in or out of my road.

last night came home from work to find cars abandoned all over the place.
My road is like a big bowl leading directly onto a down hill section of the A6
I drove past them all, round the corner and up the hill onto my drive with ease.

Made my self a brew and sat at the window watching all my neighbours hubbies and wife's pushing cars up the road.  

I did go out and help when i'd stop laughing my c**k off.

Good job really, as the Mrs came home 5 mins later and needed pushing as well.

VW should consider adding this as an option. Winter tyres/wheels swapped and stored for 3 years.

Agreed, i like the idea of storage at the dealer.
Book in for its annual November service and its winters
Return in March for a once over and summers.

I got choked on a bit of meat so I was out of circulation for a bit, literally!

GolfTi calls me Amy, usually. He won't give his name out in a PM to me either. Fair enough.

I can't keep calling him GolfTi as it is so impersonal. So I have decided to call him Ami which I think is quite friendly and warm. I don't know his feelings regarding this.

Now he insists on calling me Asker. Fair enough. But I'll keep calling him Ami which makes me feel friendly towards him.

I hope he does not mind.

How are you liking your winters?

Brilliant, the very best amount of money I've spent in ages.  Had a couple of inches of fresh snow this morning and they just took it in their stride, being as the road is an undulating mass of smallish hills and bends I know for certain I'd have been in the hedge back with my summer tyres, but no such problems with the contis.  Can't praise them highly enough.
