I have a friend who I go and see in Dundee I'm sure we could sort something out mate.

Darren

I could easily make it to Dundee when you're available.
How do you go about updating it anyway?  Is it just a case of plugging a cable into the RNS itself - or is it still done through the diagnostic port?  Will future FW updates disable it - or is it permanent?

Even Darren loved my knob. He fitted it in seconds. I felt it was a bit quick at the time!

Please disregard my ignorance, but is mine an RNS510?
I have a GiT registered in Jul/Aug 2010, but has the LED rear lights etc.

Sorry, I am fairly new to the technical info of the Mk6 !

Red: If you have a Sat Nav, it is the RNS510. If you don't but have a touch screen radio, then it is the RCD510.
