having a 2nd car should make your original one cheaper I think. at the end of the day you can only be driving one at a time!

they should bring in a driving test to test how good you actually are, instead of how safe you are. old people who have slow reactions would fail. yay.

I've always pondered this question. who has better reactions. a 17 year old who's had a pint or a 90 year old who can't keep a pint in them? yet the 17 year old will undoubtly be raped of over ?1000 for their insurance while the 90 year old pays less than ?100.

This will make you jealous -

I insure a group 19 corrado, and have 6 points for speeding! I'm 31 and still only pay ?320, FC protected!
Just need to find someone that will give me a good price on the cab, as a second car now- any ideas?
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

Avoid the 1litre Mk2, the engine doesn't have enough power to shift the mk2 and without power steering a learner will find it very heavy.
I went for the 1 litre Mk2 Polo option for teaching my girlfriend, better power to weight ratio and easier to manouvre. Still costs too much, but that's cos of the area.
My trick is to have yourself as main driver, her as named driver (learner), then add your parents (or anybody over 50) as named drivers too. The more experienced the other named drivers are, the better, even if they are never likely to want to drive the car.
