Electric supercharge kits
« on: 27 November 2010, 19:54 »
Ive seen alot of 'electric supercharger kits' advertised on the internet cost around £200 and fit directly onto your air intake system and forces air into the intake via this electric powered motor, apparently the gains are pretty good according to the adverts but has anyone ever fitted one? or know of someone who has fitted one?

well i had a little look in to this and if you think about how much air gets suckedin to the intake of any engine 1.4 to 2.0l and think how fast that motor will have to spin to keep up at idle and it has to do more than just keep up

save the £200 and put it towards something good like 1.8t a3 engine
