^Thats strange it just being your front windows? Can't really blame that on sitting on the key so must of been a glitch.

To top it off.... my passenger door was frozen shut when I went out just now!
My fiancee had to climb over my seat to get in (I made her take her shoes off!).
We went driving for a while to try and warm the car up.  She couldn't get out and had to climb over my seat again.  2 minutes later, it just opened without a problem!

I wonder if the snow has got inside the door somehow?
It is -1.5 degrees C outside just now... but I wouldn't have thought the door should ever stick at that sort of temperature.

Could be ice between the rubber seal and the door frame if there is the slightest gap inbetween. Is the door perfectly aligned? Or a frozen lock. :undecided:
I usually put a thin coat on the rubber seals of good old vaseline or WD40. Have never had it happen since. But then again I live in sunny London. Will hit minus 4 degrees C tonight in West London, according to the weather forecast.

p3eps, slightly off topic but I take it your car is not in line of site of where you stay?
Reason I ask is my fob can open and shut the door from easily 300 yards with line of sight so I am wary of having my keys in my pocket while in the house.

The car is generally not in line of sight - and when I tried pressing the key fob in my living room, the car didn't open.

I've just been outside with a tub of moisture crystals and stuck them on my passenger seat to soak up any excess moisture in the car.  The temp displayed -2.5 about 45 mins ago, so I guess we'll be down to -4 or -5 overnight

Do your windows automatically close when you lock the doors with the fob?
