and some pic whoring of when i done it in september and a few because i can.

this is my collection so far, just for the paintwork and trim. got to get round to getting the rest when funds allow, so quarter past 2034

looks tidy mate and well looked after, from your last pic of the bonnet id say your wax needs topping up  the beads are starting to flatten off which doesnt mean your wax is gone as such but its dropping off. get the wax out and have a nice theraputic session

only the top pic is recent, the rest aren't in date order,

but yeah its due a top up, but its getting the time, got someone else's to do tomorrow, gonna try and sneak a coat of light fantastic if i get a chance, only got 3 hours and its been stood outside for over a yeah so see what happens...

is it ok to top with another wax? done the front wing but i took it all off first with a heavy shampoo and bug spray from cg or pb on or other.

cant really be bothered to do all the coats (c,c,p,g,s,w), across the whole car.  :lipsrsealed:

nobody picked up on the state of the wheels, been using bug spray neat to try and hit the baked on dirt from last christmas i've never been able to shift, and that helps but still not cutting it. do you think tar remover might work better? far to dirty to clay i'd do in a bar on just the front 2 wheels.

and what brushes do people use to get to the back of the spokes, right into the corner, is it tools or technique? either way i must be doing something wrong, tried neat bilberrys left to soak for 5-10 mins and rinsed, tried neat bug spray, topped with bilberry's. nothing i've got is shifting it very well, i've got some ag tar remover, and some carplan crap as well. reckon its worth giving these a crack? well unless its gonna ruin the wheels i'm gonna give it a go as i'm not buying more wheel cleaner, as once they come clean they'll stay reasonably clean

if you want to put a different wax on then just wash the car with a strongish mix of apc or even fairy liquid to remove old wax, rinse really well, dry off and wax away if the paint is still smooth and your not fussed about a few swirls etc.

for your wheels get something like this http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=50&idcategory=11 and this http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=320&idcategory=11.

cant really see from the pics but if you have black specs on them then thats tar and tar and glue remover will get these off as for the baked on brake dust you'll need something a bit stronger than what you have been using, something like a strong tfr sprayed on neat then aggitate with brush(linked above) and re-apply if needed then rinse off well give them a wash over again with some ph neutral shampoo rinse again, dry, polish if needed (which they proberly will) then apply some sealant and wax and keep on top of them and they should stay cleaner for longer and not need any harsh chemicals on them to clean them. try tar and glue on them first and see if that helps, if not then go for the above but do one wheel at a time because you cant let tfr stay on each wheel and potentially dry which is not good or leave it on there for too long or it will damage the rims.

will do, i've had a few goes at it, its getting better each time, but its just at this rate 3 will be clean come august  i forgot to say i've got a wheel brush sort of like that but a cheapy one, but its better than old sponges  :undecided:

i'vve heard about people using jetseal on the wheels, would any sealant have the heat resistant properties? as i've cg or pb wet look mirror sealant. could i use that?

should of got my wallet out for the jetseal in the first place

jetseal is better than what you've got but what you have atm just use it up and get either jetseal 109 or fk1000p when its run out, fk1000p will give you better durabilty as it can withstand higher temperatures etc also consider collinite 845 for rims as this again is highly durable and detergent resistant.
