Where did i say that???

Gilly, you bite to easily

me no bite

I dont think its a fair evalutation if you havent owned both the cars in question. rent/lease/finance/borrow are virtually all the same thing and not really much to do with the comparision of the 2 cars either. I doubt there is anyone out there that is paying as little for their MK6

GTI as I am

Its also the best/safest way to do it if you want to change the car every few years.

Ill swap you the R for my MK5 then? Sounds like a good deal to me :D

I've moved on! Build a bridge

Seriously though I'd have another mk5 at the drop of a hat...mine was black like yours, clearly the best colour, to hide those silly placcy bits that should have been colour coded...

Haha ! Thats one of the main reasons why I got it in black (apart from it being the fastest). I still to this day dont know why VW didnt colour code the GTI. How much better does the ED30 (and MK6 for that fact) look all colour coded.

Mk 5 - Fantastic car.
Mk 6 - Fantastic car but just that little bit better in every way.

I really liked my mk5, only problem for me was the leather.

Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.
