Favourite Mod (Performance/Cosmetic/ANYTHING!)

As above, what is your favourite modification you have made to your Mk3

Funnily enough mine isn't the £350 SPAX or the £300 full Scorpion Exhaust. Mine is in fact a £30 lower Glove Box. It's just soo bloody handy! Anyone who hasn't got one, i advise you too!

Are they easy to fit? Might fancy getting one!

My favourite mod is the exhaust that I bought from deano on here, id never put an aftermarket zaust on a car before and it transforms the look and sound!

That's the one! 

piece of piss, 5 screws, its that easy, genuinely it took me the best part of 4 mins

+1 even less for me as some screws were missing! 

It goes in the same as the other one comes out!

Even though iv had probs with my mk3 I still love it n it's the best car I've had yet! I got a new set of crystal black fogs+indicators over the weekend coupled with a DIY joey'd headlights makes my front end look well good!



Lowering on coillies is a close 2nd favourite mod!!

i do like the VR Splitter, it's cheap and in my opinion makes the car look 10x better from the front! 

Also agree with the coilovers, nothing better than a low mk3!

Gotta be for the speakers for me! A car just doesn't feel done until the music plays properly. Nice decent bass and quality is just luvly.
To be honest, this is a bit more essential in my golf at the moment to drown out all the rattles and squeaks and warning lights trying to get my attention

I have to disagree with the lower glove box. It looks better but is too small and useless really. The best mod for me has to be the lowering. Looks great and improves handling no end. Snifferdog....glad you're happy with the zaust Buddy
