MY build start around June / July time so therefore MY11 is produced from around that time

My MK4 Golf was an MY02 and registered in November 2001.  Same goes for my Audi - its an MY08 car but registered in September 2007
Correct its still sale bull, its doesn't matter what you are buying a car or a bleeding washing machine you can't be buying something thats advertised 2011 in 2010 that against the trade descriptions in any country.

Mmmm FIFA 11, tiger woods 11.........

I just need opinions on spec, But not yours Keith
Well you are very lucky to have my opinion because there aren't many GTD owners on this GTI forum are there? Most of the other replies are from GTI owners. Have you ever thought of joining a TDI only forum Doc and I don't mean TDICLUB?

I do feel lucky, no infact blessed when I read your accurate posts full of in depth knowledge and factual accurate facts.

Thank you, please continue to enlighten me on 2010 spec (2011MY to the majority) cruise control fitting, what parts are required and the coding required. I'm assuming your car is infact a 2009 spec (2010MY to the majority)

Really, really off topic BTW so shall we start a new thread on this as I feel it's going to go on and on and on and on and on.....

Well I picked mine up on 27th January 2010 even though the paperwork says MY2010 it was obviously built on 2009.

Doc,

I would go for

DSG
Cruise
RCD 510 and sell the RCD on ebay and Retrofit RNS510
Reverse Camera
Bluetooth
Winter Pack / and then Winter Tyres.
White
3 Door
Flat tyre ind
Service Pack

I went for a in stock car for a great price as i did not want to wait until March. So I still need to retrofit RNS510 / Camera / Bluetooth / Cruise.

I also miss my xenons from my ED30 so will prop fit those as well at some point

Personally, I wish I had opted for the ACC as the suspension in the GTi can be a little tiresome over long journeys

+1
Love the ACC.
Simply cannot drive the car in 'normal' mode in Central London.
In 'sport' mode the car feels as hard as a corpse on viagra.
'Comfort' is the mode for me as I love the Magic Persian Carpet ride!
