Keep the tyres and sell the rims and put the money into a nice set of rx2's

I would if i could find a decent set with tyres for like £250.00, but i know that ain't going to happen, the car only cost £500 so don't want to spend like huge amounts, unless someone wants to give me theirs

im still looking for some or similar on ebay though

(As above) Golf MK3 & genuine BBS RX 16"wheels, now for sale separately - Just ask for details - Thanks, Les

Have a look around for OEM wheels, you can get some real nice ones for little money. Mk3 GTI wheels should be easy to find and imo look great. My Corrado Estorils cost €150 with 4 good tyres.

Thats a good idea!

@les.tansey Where about you located? I'm selling some standard gti alloys in the classifieds at the moment, so is 16_blu. One of us may be close to you?

would like the gti ones if they would fit there well niice

what wheels you put on yours now. put some pics up of them

I've just got VR6 BBS on mine now, nothing exciting but a little improvement from the standard alloys!

Here are some oem 4x100 wheels:

Have a look in the classifieds on this site too, nice 4x100 wheels come up for decent money pretty often. I think it's always worth waiting for wheels you really like rather than the first and cheapest available. Steelies are cool in the mean time
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3
