Soooooooooo, been busy with my new venture so not much time put in to this. But yesterday I got a few more bits of the broken one to use for Red Demon.

Plans for the coming weekends -

Fit K&N Panel Air Filter
Fit M3 style rear lights (for a bit) *
Fit Crystal clear front lights*
Fit Crystal indicator lenses*
Put on the stainless steel exhaust system
Paint Rocker cover and refit
Put on the RA's that I should be getting soon after I have refurbed them
Fit dashboard as the current one is cracked with age
And the best bit..........................................
Fit the Rallye front seats that I have just won on eBay. I did like the ones I had so I have been keeping an eye out for some on the cheap (and I acheived it on a budget!)
Pics to follow.

*Keeping the originals to put back on at some shows

how did you get on with that dash removal guide? i need to remove mine soon, new heater matrix time (and I cba to leave the top half in place)

I don't think a semi will give the same results

I found Shauns (SoundIllusion) advice most helpful. Was on the verge of giving up when I felt under the scuttle area and found the 2 nuts (10mm) and they came of easily. It was just a few wires clinging it on for dear life but I managed to unhook them so no problem. Took me 10 minutes to remove.

No progress as of yet, but took a picture this morning as I could not get to work due to the bad accident at Hatton Cross this morning (grid locked in the area until 1.30pm) so helped with the little one!

As she sits now (with the Koni Adjustables), wheels are from Chuff!

I've got crystal cross hair spots to go with your crystal headlights. Good condition too iirc. Let me know if you want them

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Fitted the Rallye seats this afternoon, well 5 minute job. Looking really nice and I am happy the way it's going. Next on the list are the Rallye door cards, should have them in a week or so.
