« on: 01 November 2010, 22:55 »
I get my Deep Black R beginning of january and considering winter wheels. imho black wheels on a black car is too much and dark grey looks better. I am looking for pictures of the OEM VW Motorsport wheel on a black Golf VI.

Alternatively the VW Racing wheel is very nice:

Not that I mean to gripe but it would have been nice to have the VW logo the right way up

(I also assume that is your car/wheels Steve?)

I like these wheels was considering a set myself at one point.

Its a no brainer really as the VMR ones are £600 and the VW ones are around £1,400.

These alloys are virtually identical. When I enquired about the VW wheels at a couple of dealerships I was told they couldn't order them into this country as there for the European market only (not sure why?).

Why not buy some light wheels direct from Compomotive, might work out cheaper ?
