Interior Panels

Ok well im looking for something different here, maybe chequer plating or carbon fibre to replace the front and rear door cards in my Mk2 Golf. Any ideas anyone? :smiley:

Nah im trying to get rid of most of the MK2 standard interior as to be honest its ugly, square and very dated. Shame they never matched the timeless classic of the exterior.

Carbon Fibre seems the way to go!!

if your not fussed about shape you can easily buy sheets of carbon fibre to make up flat door panels. you'll have to phone around a few suppliers but that'd be the easiest/cheapest way to do it. bear in mind they would probably be noisier so you might have to slap on the sound proofing.

sound isnt an issue as i have dynamatted the entire car due to the stereo install. :wink:
