2 years ago my mate put £30 worth of unleaded in his diseasel Range Rover Sport. He then realised, filled it up to the top with diesel as it should be and nothing has ever gone wrong with it! 40k miles  later (now done well over 100k) he's just chopped it in for a spanking new one and nothing ever broke on it. not even a splutter!

So have I waisted 300 sobs then, the engineer is comming out with in the hour? I had 3/4 tank full of diesel and put in 7litres of petrol will it be ok?

Thats unusual for a diesel owner. I'm just wondering why you had 3/4 of a tank and you put another 7 litres in. Were you going on a 500 mile trip somewhere?

I would also say just python it out yourself.  Although to be honest I'd think such a small amount compared to the amount of diesel you already had in, you probably won't notice.

Such an unfortunate thing to happen to a really very good guy.

Steve, my friend, you can have my Bridgestones for next to nothing, i.e. if you want the fcukers.

What's wrong with Bridgestones?

About the worst tyre I have had for grip in wet and cold conditions. Very noisy too with a ride as hard as a bag of nails.

Going to buy Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 225/40 R18 92W XL with rim protection ridge, GRNX.

Sorry Steve for the highjack.
