I always use this,works a treat on them and also the cross head screws that hold the front discs in place that are made of cheese.
When you tw*t the end the other end twists and does striaght away.
Never failed me yet.Oldskool tools ftw!
If you want to borrow it just gimme a shout.


I've got one of these and they are good but there is nowhere near enough space to use one on the top bolt, i use heat and just kept flexing the extension bar until they cracked and came out but i'm replacing them with hex bolts for future ease of removal when i replace the rear beam with a fresh set of beam bushes.

Up on a ramp, access was fine  :evil:

You could jack it up high & undo the bolts to the shocks, letting beam swing down

This is what i did last time, i also undid the exhaust backbox mounting point so i could get better access to the upper nearside bolt.
