i used to turn the bass line up. the pounding of the subs nocked some life into the motor  :grin:

got the same problem with mine.The drivers side is works when it feels like but like tobz a quick bang on the doorcard and hey presto it works again!! :smiley:i love my golf!!!!

I took the door card off and had a look and the connections. there was a bit of corrosion on the terminals which I cleaned off and the window works again now.  :cool:
