i used to turn the bass line up. the pounding of the subs nocked some life into the motor

got the same problem with mine.The drivers side is works when it feels like but like tobz a quick bang on the doorcard and hey presto it works again!! :smiley:i love my golf!!!!

I took the door card off and had a look and the connections. there was a bit of corrosion on the terminals which I cleaned off and the window works again now.
