Monzas or Monza Shadows (or different wheels again)?
Monzas should be easy enough to repair if the marks aren't deep but Monza Shadows are altogether more difficult to get 'as new' again due to their diamond cut finish and the shape of the rim.
Normally any kerbing will mean the rim will have to be milled which makes the hole cutouts slightly different to the other wheels. Not too bad if you put both the repaired wheels on the same side of the vehicle.
There are a few members on here who have had satisfactory refurbs on Shadows so I'm sure they'll be along to advise.
I had a set of Monza IIs refurbed on a previous mk5 Golf by Pristine. They did a good enough job but the finish didn't look 100% factory. However they said the lacquer they put on was probably better than the original stuff!
I've also known someone have a repair on a Monza II that had a chunk of metal out of the rim. The repair consisted of having a bit of metal welded into the rim and then it was milled and looked 100% afterwards. I was really surprised how well it came up. This was also done by Pristine as they were one of the few places that could do the diamond cut finish at the time.
