Anyone got one? Need to try another for my 60. Finally got round to working on the old dear today to prep it for import and found the cable to the knock sensor in less than good condition. This could be the reason for my bad running.
MODS, please don't move this thread to WANTED. Not many people look there!

Bosch or siemens?
Can't remember how much they were at VAG about £40 I think but apprently a few on the Egay mate?

Mate TBH I think any secondhand ones are cracked due to them being so close to the bottom end of the block. I would rather get a new one than secondhand ones considering we are talking about the detination of your engine?

I would support the 'only buy new' view - however mine was £50 from the stealers (8v PB).

they hardly ever cause any difference to the running of the car, mk3/audi 2.0 8v/16v ones also work. use the 16v one from the driver side of car, passenger side one obv the wire isnt long enough
