The perfect alloys for the MK6 are the Monza's
I don't believe that dressing up in womens clothing is the only alternative to having a wheel fetish   [although you do mention "or something"]
My fetish [if you can call it that] is keeping my car clean, I'm dreading the winter with all that salt and grit

A wise decision, I don't have a wife to borrow a Corsa off , but I've been thinking of buying a cheap car to use for the winter; done this in the past but it gets expensive [2x insurance, 2x tax, 2x servicing [and repairs on older cars]]

RickS, Imo its the Monza's Shadows which are more likely to take a hammering in the winter.... i.e. skidding into a kerb in the snow, damage from pot holes, corriosion from the salt etc..... maybe instead of buying a cheap run-around car with all the costs assoicated with it you should instead look at buying a winter set of wheels? That's what I brought the interlagos wheels for (I paid around £600 for them with decent new tyres from memory from a nice chap on the rocco forum). You could even buy some rep alloys or something??
