« on: 24 September 2010, 13:19 »
Finnally getting round to changing the gasket on the inlet manifold - any nasty surprises i should expect - or is it as straight forward as throttle body, isv and a few bolts?

pretty straight forward, take off all the hoses, unbolt the upper manifold from the lower manifold and theres supports coming up from the exhaust manifold top the back of the upper manifold held on with 3 or 4 (can't remember)

Sorry I have no knowledge of this at all but just for future reference - why are there supports form the exhaust manifold?
The exhaust is round the back!

The exhaust is round the back!

It helps support the inlet manifold and prevents it from cracking through vibration, the older KR lump had the same set up.
