Airbag light came on - Help

Drove to work this morning in the golf

Airbag light came on

Where do i start fault finding ?

as daft as it sounds it might just reset itself after the ignition has been turned of.....if not have it scanned bud and see what pops up..

Plug in a fault code reader or vagcom - that will direct you to the problem

That did not work

Ignition cycles will not delete DTCs concerning the airbag controller. It's probably a loose wire or dirty plug, vagcom will tell you where to start looking.
