Dontcha love little niggly things-

see this pic :

These coilovers come with 2 nuts per front shock.

That nut which holds the rubber in place in that picture could not be taken off my shock due to the thread snapping. It holds both the mount and bearing in place. You can see its flanged near the middle of the bolt to hold the rubber mount captive.

If I use the nut that the coilovers came with, it clamps onto the bearing and the mount just slides over it. Is it ok to run in this fashion? Surely once the top hat is in place and nutted down the shock isn't going to go anywhere even on the most extreme of jumps.

Anybody able to confirm (as if not, I cannot see the point in the shocks coming with 2 bolts lol.)

I used the original nut. I've got those exact coillies and they also came with 2 extra nuts.

You shouldn't need anything from the old kit, coilovers and new top mounts/bearings are all you need

You'll have to reuse the nuts/bolts at the bottom of the struts but you'll have to remove them anyway to get the old struts out, other than that everything else you need should come with the coilovers (aside from the top mounts obviously).
