Its a jetex, I bought it second hand though and didn't know until I received it that the previous owner has cut off the middle hanger which should be on the top of the pipework, and welded on some bodge job hanger onto the bottom, so when you hang it it sits very close to the floor almost touching and when it vibrates it knocks sending vibrations and loud noises all through the car.

Its so very annoying!

No I didn't mate :( Only tried to fit them last week but they are too long I can only guess that there are different types of mk4 mounts? No big deal though I can cut them down and re-weld they are the right shape and everything just too long. Thinking I'm gonna leave it for now though as I'll eventually get a leather mk4 interior and knowing my luck I'll cut the mounts down then they will be too short for the leathers

O right sorry bud. It might be bcoz I made mine for a 5 door golf and then copyd mine to make yours. I wanna get a set of cream mk4 leathers but I don't think thatll happen anytime soon

Middle hanger? It doesn't have one in the middle. There is a double hanger before the rear beam. Do you have that?
