Cut the silicone with a sharp stanley knife, then prise the glass away (very carefully use a flat head screwdriver if needed). Then remove all the old silicone with a paint scraper. When painting don't use masking tape as it pulls off the silver reflective part. Put your paint in a tub and use a small brush. Then refit the glass and silicone back up.

If they're proper hella ones then put them in the oven for a couple of mins to soften the glue then prise them apart

Dont bother trying to cut the glue mate as the glass sits in a recess which you wont get a knife in.I did mine yesterday.

Gas mk3 for about 4-5 mins but to be honest i was a bit worried about melting them so kept checking them.Once the glue is soft enough just prise them apart gently and jobs a good un

Did mine with a stanley knife and it's mega easy. You only have to rub the blade around not dig in. Then the glass will pull away from the light housing. Easy job Buddy.

Ive just done it, first one was a bastard cos i didnt get it hot enough and it took me 40 minutes to split it, but the other one took me 30 seconds just pulled them apart with screwdriver. Cheers for that.

As said before, Pop em in the over at 180degrees,
Leave for 3-5mins and the glue should be soft enough for you to pull the apart with your hands!
Then you have the fund job of scraping out the glue :( which takes forever if you do it properly!!
