Cheers for the kind words about the mini, yeah I'm keeping it. I've bought the golf as a daily driver. So yes I saw it last night and picked it up an hour later.

Mint 87 MKII 8v in white with a full VAG service history for ?425. Just needs the cambelt doing which the last owner forgot to do and is now 10,000 miles overdue. It's booked in at the garage to have it done tomorrow.

Was bored and dug up my first ever thread. THis seems like a lifetime ago. Had about 5 different dubs since then as well as a fiat Siecento!
