I never understood why they build garages which when you park a car in there you can't get out of it?!

Built when cars where smaller?  :undecided:

I did a guy's Merc C class and his was parked in a similar garage; it was easier to get in and out of it via the sunroof

The builders excuse is "nobody uses them for cars, just storing stuff".

But if you make the garages as small as the houses on new builds , you can fit more on the plot, and make more money.

Spoke to the suspension chaps today and it'll cost £40 per shock to get them rebuilt which is good value and the turnaround should be about 3 days. Better try and get them off sharpish and drop them off (they're local to my office which is handy).

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Picked up some standard rear suspension yesterday so I can remove the Konis that are blown and get them refurbished but still leave the car rolling.

Damper re-furb fail. Seems one of them has a damaged rod which needs replacing. The part is expensive (finding out how expensive tomorrow) and is unlikely to be done in time to get them back on the car for Japfest.

Refurbished dampers collected and rear spoiler has been resprayed after it discoloured. Going to have to pull a late one tonight to get it all back together and clean for Japfest tomorrow!

Met up with 74 other hairdressers on our clubstand at Japfest today. Despite the horrid 4.5 hour queue to get in a good time was had by all.
