Lol. She's left the workshop now painted up matte black. Looks fairly aard thankfully! Owner reckoned it's had 20k in the engine and is pushing about 500ponies. Seems realistic as we couldn't getthe turbos to engage properly in the yard.
Project longterm Airbanger.

Purchased a boot rack today:

Should come in handy for myself and Mrs Horney's week in Cornwall at the beginning of October. Also planning to take it to Fouras on the mid west French coast next summer which will involve a couple a nights camping each way. With a tent and our stuff for 10 days holiday a boot rack was certainly going to be needed for that.

Also worth mentioning that Mrs Horney likes the 5 so much she's looking at getting a MKII 10AE to replace her 15 year old Fiesta.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Mate at college has one of these, blue slammed on some BBS splits of some sort, camber is mad on the back.

Amusing watching him trying to get up hills in the wet, tail literally goes everywhere, let alone the snow.

Gotta be epic fun though!

So now we're two MX5 family.

It's a 99 MK2 10th Anniversary Edition with only 49K on the clock and in great condition. Has half black leather, half blue suede seats and is a 1.8 with a 6speed box and Torsen LSD. It's a bit quicker than mine! Just needs Guy to work his magic on the paint as it's a bit scratched.
