Powerflex rear axle bush

Need to do rear axle bushes, so time has come to decide which to buy. I've decided to go poly route purely because I want to stiffen up the car (seriously it's like an 80 year old man's c0ck) but also because I don't fancy doing this job twice, so polyutherane it is.
Powerflex seem to do a good price and the type of bush they sell is what I want (Can be fitted without having to press it in), however after some research it seems the companies selling them sometimes get the info wrong for 4 stud/5 stud.
Rear Beam Mounting Bush PFR85-206 is the one advertised on Awesome GTI's page for the golf mk3, no info whether it's 5 stud or 4 stud however. The Rear Beam Mounting Bush PFR85-207 is the one for the 4 stud as far as the internet says, but I just want to make sure the 206 one will be the right one as it HAS to be the right one, otherwise I will be royally pi$$ed.

Awesome have just confirmed it's the 206 part number for the 5 stud, so I'll be going for them.

They also said they fit better than OEM bushes, however they are still not an "easy" change.

What do you mean? Awesome GTI's list only has the 206 option.

I ordered these, don't know I have the 206 or 207 but it didn't fit at all, had to machine it down and even then it was a tight fit. I have a gti beam, so don't know if I had the 207 and they are bigger?

Awesome did say it would be a tight fit, so yeah I do expect some filing down possibly, I'll get the drill and wire attachment on the beam to smooth it out nicely though, should help, along with some copper grease. Quick question though, when removing the old bush do I remove the outer metal casing too or does the polybush fit inside the metal casing?

I don't know, as came across the metal casing, but there was no chance in hell that it was coming off! Maybe that's why I needed to machine mine down. I tried everything to get it too slide in...
