So took the Audi into a garage for some diagnostics about my ESP issue. After taking the technician outt for a test drive we came to the conclusion that the tyres are possibly deforming under load thus triggering the ESP. The tyres only have about 3mm left so are due for replacement soon. Will see if that cures the problem
Whilst there I asked if they have a smoke tester to check for boost leaks. Indeed they do and how I wish I had never asked........
There is a leak coming from the inlet manifold which doesnt sound so bad but its plastic and is a common problem
only solution long term is a new manifold at a cost of £506
Decided to simply replace the gasket for now and see how that goes. I just hope the manifold comes off in one piece
Whilst there they will fit my EGR delete pipe and the boost pipe coming from the EGR as its the only one i haven't replaced
I get the distinct feeling my bank balance is going to take a severe hammering.......
