So the handbrake has had a bit too much play in it lately. Booked it into the garage for it to be readjusted.....
Phone call at lunchtime - both callipers were seized solid. We've managed to free the passenger side but not the drivers side. We'll give it another go and let you know but you probably need a new calliper
20 minutes later - 'we've freed calliper and went to bleed the system. Cracked the bleed nipple to find that's knackered so we can't put it back. New calliper is needed
Just to rub it in they can't get a new calliper until Tuesday so the car is off the road until then

Gone for a refurb item which is £80 as opposed to £160 for a brand spanker.
Seriously not impressed with the fact the calliper is shagged on a car with 77,000 miles on the clock

I suspect the bloke who changed my rear discs and pads might have damaged it when he bled the system.....
Will need one for the passenger side at some point but that can wait. And I've still yet to resolve my traction issues. And I'll be needing front tyres soon
