I'm gonna have to get some. Are they road legal? Can you link some for a MK5?  :smug:

They are genuine xenons from an A3. Bought them off Ebay.

Legality is open to debate. Technically i should have headlight washers and self levellers fitted BUT the beam pattern is correct which is good enough to pass the MOT........ive not been flashed yet so I havent blinded anyone yet

And they aint as bad as idiots who have only one working headlamp and compensate but putting their full beam on  or their fog lights

Drove this yesterday

Swapped with my mate Darren who kindly took mine to local garage to have the xenons adjusted, tracking checked and my winter wheels balanced and put on

Its a 2.0 170 TDI Le Mans Edition; pretty much loaded with factory options

Despite its size it drives pretty well.  Needs more power though which will be sorted fairly soon   Ride on the 19 inch wheels is smooth considering its an S-Line but I suspect the weight of the thing stops it from bouncing around

One thing that annoyed me is that the transmission tunnel is so bloody big that there's no room to rest your foot so it ends up either on the clutch pedal or under the pedal itself.  Oh and putting the key on the dash board to the LEFT of the steering wheel; who's clever idea was that?

Well it's not a race car, is it?  It's a diesel family wagon.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Had the upper THS Engine mounts on the old Goof and never ever experienced vibration or resonance as what I've experienced over the last 100 miles

Well if you want to keep mileage low fit some of these mounts. Ive done just a coupe of hundred miles in the last 3 weeks.......

But new standard mounts have been refitted and all is well again   need to get it tracked and throw some water over it but its good to have it back as it was

Managed to finally get around to washing the Aldi today  first time in 3 months.....not sure if i've done a tidy job mind as it was getting dark as I was finishing......

Dropped off a couple of wheels to be refurbed to be told they dont't do the shade of gunmetal that I have   luckily they do have a little bit left so hopefully they have enough to do both wheels  :undecided:

Got an expensive couple of months coming up as the Aldi needs the following
Cambelt
Complete set of tyres
Tracking re-done
Tax
Insurance

The joys of motoring

After that I'm not sure what to so with it in terms of mods  :undecided:
