Obviously it's brand spankers, and the fit will get better as it's 'worn' etc.

That, I am very sorry to say, looks absolutely and totally non-scene and very, very ugly. You are such a nice guy, with such a nice car and you cannot do this to yourself, to your car and to us! Sell it to an enemy, please.
You'd feel silly driving a GTi with that on its nose. Zap it with Clearasil. :evil:

Will you not get dirt underneath it from the top when it rains and then scratch the bonnet underneath.

Have you bought this to protect against stone chips?

If so have you thought about the paintshield type film?  Works really well and is almost 'invisible'  I'm going to see how my car goes with the chips and if it continues then I'll get this done to save the paint/keep the looks
